Warm Hands, Warm Hearts

In Cortland, St. Mary’s School students and staff participate in many service projects throughout the school year. One recent project was a hat, coat, and mitten drive for Cortland Chenango Rural Services. Cortland Chenango Rural Services is a ministry of the Catholic Diocese that serves people in the rural areas of Cortland and Chenango Counties. Rural Services assesses local needs and offers assistance to all persons as an extension of God’s love. The 4th Grade class has participated in this service project for at least the last 15 years, and it is always a success.
